entry to the United Kingdom. However BN (O) s wishing merely to visit the United Kingdom do not require an entry certificate or visa to do

so, which the above endorsement makes clear. This is exactly the

situation which currently applies to Hong Kong BDTCs.

Currently Hong Kong British Dependent Territories Citizens

have visa free visitor access to approximately 70 countries

world-wide.

They have of course complete and unrestricted

returnability to Hong Kong. BN(O)s will have exactly the same

returnability to Hong Kong both before 1 July 1997 and after.
