6. Mr Waddington and his officials had no difficulty with our proposed re-draft of paragraphs 9 and 12 of the annex to the draft minute to OD(K) from the Home Secretary.

On timing, Mr Waddington said he would be quite content not to lay the Order until after the March meeting of the Joint Liaison Group. It was left that Home Office officials would look for a convenient date some time after 17 March.
