1. The Home Office canvassed the following endorsement:
"The holder of this passport is subject to the current immigration control but does not require an entry certificate or visa to visit the United Kingdom."

We explained that this was unacceptable
unacceptable and agreed with the Home Office that they might try the endorsement:
"In accordance with the United Kingdom immigration rules the holder of this passport does not require an entry clearance or visa to visit the United Kingdom."
