The Board recommends that:

Advertising

News Programmes

Annex B

(a)

advertising breaks of a maximum

length of 2 1/2 minutes each, but

without station promotions or unpaid

APIS should be allowed in news programmes.

(b)

sponsorship of news programmes

should not be permitted.

Advertising Magazines

(c)

the existing standard allowing a

maximum of two advertising magazines

per week on each service should remain.

Repeats of Advetisements

(a)

the same advertisement should

not be repeated within a period of
