would imply to members of the public that a person was a triad

member (paragraphs 5.13 to 5.16

of the document). The public was

most concerned about this

option. There is also some doubt

as to its necessity from a legal

point of view. It is probable

that the circumstances described

may be adequately dealt with by charging for criminal

intimidation or blackmail.

(e) those that have been rejected

the possibility of more legalised gambling (paragraph 6.96 of the

document). This option did not

find favour with the public.

There is a considerable amount of curricular

material available to schools aimed at providing knowledge and instilling attitudes which will enable young persons to recognise, resist and fight against anti social behaviour, including triad type. But there is no specific information on triads.
