I think the AECS group was on Embassy thought us a bunch of Chinese more than the British. Richard was very interesting when talks which are due to start soon. for the rights of overseas staff in the need for Chinese Nationals to head was only a final bargaining card to be 'given away' at the end!!

We said we were not too impressed by the British performance and felt that Parliament would be quite willing to drop us in the soup if needed. We also challenged the situation to pay us off in the early 1990's which, we claimed, was mainly to save the all UK taxpayer money by ensuring HK paid for any compensation.
