THE MEDICAL REGISTRATION (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 1985

The object of this Ordinance is to amend the Medical Registration Ordinance to provide that holders of United Kingdom or Irish medical diplomas recognized by the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom for the purpose of full registration as a medical practitioner in the United Kingdom if the holders are EEC nationals, will continue to be eligible for registration as medical practitioners in Hong Kong, regardless of their nationality.
2. Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
