I am to attend the Executive Committee meeting of UNHCR in Geneva on 8 and 9 October. Whilst there, I anticipate having to offer hospitality to members of the Australian, Canadian and US delegations and to members of the UNHCR Secretariat. Other UK civil servants may be included in this entertainment, subject to the "50/50" ratio being observed, making a total of not more than 20 people including myself.
2.
I should be grateful for your approval for expenditure on this hospitality and for your advice on the maximum per capita sum I may claim: bearing in mind that Geneva is an expensive place, I should be grateful for a suitable amount in excess of the usual £21 ceiling for a DS5, if at all possible.
