Thank you for your letter of 6 August asking for background briefing on UNHCR activities. For ODA's ease of reference I attach our comments on a separate sheet. We have spoken to ODA locally who have nothing to add to the attached. ODA have pointed out that there is no bilateral aid involvement with UNHCR, nor do we give any support for its projects or refugee programmes.
