1. Thank you for copying to me your letter of 25 November to David Barton (FCO). I should be interested to know how many refugees are currently attending ESF French-language classes, and of what duration, and to have your general impressions of the programme's effectiveness.
2. Having nothing new to say, I have not had recent contact with the Quai on this subject. Have you or the PA's office had any substantive discussion with the French Consulate-General, please?
