Outflow of the Refugees:
Since the political change of Indo-Chinese countries in 1975, it is said that more than 2,000,000 refugees are coming out of their own countries, Vietnam. Laos and Cambodia as they could not adjust to the extreme change of their domestic social structure. Their exile by foot and by boat is still continuing in order to avoid forced labor, drafting and restraint of liberty.

New Life in Japan:
Most of the refugees wishing to resettle in Japan will be placed in Resettle- ment Promotion Centers and receive Japanese language training for 3 months, which expenses for daily living will be borne by the Government. During this time daily living guidance to help them to adjust to Japanese society is also given by giving opportunities to experience actual shopping, travelling and visiting factories. After a three months' period they will finish the training in the Center and after that those who wish to work are employed, they will
begin their new lives in Japan.
