During a meeting in Geneva, about something else, Ms D J Walker asked, for the British representation in Geneva, the Directorates representative how far a row of cases concerning refugees from Hong Kong still under treatment in Denmark had gone. Ms Walker presented us with the enclosed list and the Directorates representative promised to look into the question and give the reply to you.
In this connection we can inform you that No's 17, 18 and 19 on the list have been given resident permits for Denmark. The other
are still being looked into and the Directorate expects to come to a decision soon.
