I'm interested in what the administration is doing in this area I think we've

new flexibility in the adminitration's policy on some of the problems in Central America, a changed policy which I think is encouraging limited numbers but nonetheless I think is important, We're still troubled by the Tag in time in the processing of case in Southeast Asia, particularly those that involve family reunification. It's been a continuing problem. My own sense is WE haven't probably devoted the kinds of resourc$$ in those areas that probably should be devoted if we're going to expect some kinds of family reunification.

I'm interested in what observations you have about the Chilean situation, with the state of siege there and the increased violence that we've seen there, the crackdown. We saw a number of people that were expelled from the country sveral years ago We see increasing repression there. What wi
