Dear Sri Geoffrey Howe,

We were pleased to note from the Home Affairs Committee Report on Refugees and Asylum with special reference to the

Viet Namese that H.M.G. has agreed to admit an additional 500

Refugees into Britain under the family reunion programme. How- ever, we are concerned about the continuation of the Closed Camps.

We fully endorse the appeal made to you for the abolition of the Closed Camps in Lord Ennals' letter to you dated 7th

February, 1986.

Yours sincerely,
