written to the Secretary of State about HMG's agreement to
accept for settlement 500 more refugees from Hong Kong, and
about the closed camps there.

Kong Department on these subjects in September 1985, just before the publication of the Government's Reply to the SCORRI report on 'Refugees and Asylum, with special reference to the Vietnamese'. Mr Galsworthy replied on 17 September 1985.
