iv. officers of the National Audit Office and the Administration's own Internal Audit Unit reserve the right to inspect at any time, should they wish. to do so, the books and accounts of the project. In addition, the Comptroller and Auditor General (the National Audit Office) may carry out examinations into the economy, efficiency and effectiveness with which Save the Children Fund has used its resources in discharging its functions under this scheme;
V. as a condition of the grant, this Administration will expect to receive a six monthly progress report and a final project status report covering the period of the grant not later than 1 May 1987.
4. A payment of £8,000 will be made as soon as you confirm your acceptance of the Grant now offered and the accounting arrangements we have attached to it. A receipt of this payment will be required. A further remittance will be made after 1 November on receipt of details of actual expenditure to date and a realistic forecast of needs to the end of the period of the grant.
