AT THE 1986 CCSDPT ANNUAL CONFERENCE
ON INDOCHINESE DISPLACED PEPSONS
AT NARAI HOTEL, ON JULY 11, 1986
Your Excellencies, Mr Chairman, Distinguished Guests, Ladies and
Gentlemen
to address
it gives me great pleasure to have the opportunity
this distinguished gathering once again because the time has come
to explain to you the policies and inform you of the various
measures taken towards refugees and displaced persons during the
past year. I also welcome the opportunity to bring up for your
understanding and consideration the truly serious problems which
have become a heavy burden for us to bear. In the sincere hope
the discussions between representatives of different
organisations and the officials of concerned agencies of
government will result in achieving the important objective
mutual understanding, we should listen to the problems of
everybody involved and exchange views to reach solutions to
satisfaction of all engaged in these humanitarian efforts.
