During the 90-day period following disembarkation, it was not possible to resettle these refugees. The Government of (country providing guarantee) therefore requests the authorities of Hong Kong to allow a period of transit in Hong Kong to these refugees. During this period, UNHCR will continue to search for a permanent home for the refugees named above. If, however, any of the refugees remain in Hong Kong at the end of 180 days, the Government of (country) agrees that the refugees will be removed from Hong Kong to (country).
