(e) In addition to persons coming under (a),
(c) and (d) above; a person who had worked for a
considerable period in cooperation with Japanese
nationals or under the direct supervision or
guidance of Japanese nationals
(f) A person who can be recognized as being
able to adapt to the Japanese society, having, for
example, conversational ability of Japanese language
(3) A person who has a foster-parent who is
recognized as a person of good character and
suitable to become a guarantor for a long period
of time.

Entry to Japan of the family from Viet Nam
A Vietnamese residing in Viet Nam and desiring
to come to Japan in order to join his or her family
in accordance with the.comprehensive memorandum of
30 May 1979 agreed between the Office of the United
Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the
Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, may be granted a
permission to enter Japan, provided that that person
follows the procedures stipulated in the memorandum
and is recognized as capable of leading a good social
life and falls under any of the following categories:
