I enclose a copy of UNHCR's summary notes concerning the Annual Technical Meeting on Resettlement held in Geneva on 21 January.

2. I have drawn Mr Issaka's attention to the fact that the UK statement, as recorded, is incomplete. Our statement included a reference to the projected monthly resettlement rate of 40 from Hong Kong to the UK with an estimated total of 420 refugees in Hong Kong qualifying under the relaxed criteria. Mr Issaka will issue an amendment to the record to this effect.
