Wang has proved a weak vessel.
Having not,
it seems, reacted in expected ways following Mrs Kellerson's conversation with him on 6 March, he may, I fear, over-react now. It is a moot point whether an attempt to pass the same reassuring messages to Peking by another channel would alarm Wang's authorities more than he may himself be doing now, or allay any fears his reporting may arouse. But you may wish to consider this course.
