completed on time (clauses 71(4) and 72). The Government,
on the vesting of the assets, does not assume liability for
debts (clause 73).
11. Part XIII deals with a number of miscellaneous
matters including appeals, the authorization of foreshore
encroachments, and the enforcement of directions under the
Bill.
12. The Bill has no significant Public Service
staffing implications.
There will be an immediate land
resumption and clearance cost to the Government, but this
cost will be refunded by the Road Company in accordance
with clause 20.
Contributions to the maintenance of the
immersed tube under clause 37 will be refunded to the
Government by the Mass Transit Railway Corporation.
