the Corporation's buses and to provide

programmes, similar to those provided by bus

operators under the Public Bus Services Ordinance.

(Chapter 230), relating to the Corporation's

transport services in the North-west Transit

Service Area;

(g) clause 15 extends the Corporation's by-law making

powers to the new railway and, with the exception

of the restricted area provisions, to its bus

clause 16 enables the Corporation to control the

laying of cables and pipes within the wayleave

area of the new railway and extends certain

provisions of the Tramway Ordinance (Chapter 107)

to that railway;

clause 17 extends the existing power of the

Building Authority to exempt construction work on

the Kowloon-Canton Railway from the Buildings

Ordinance (Chapter 123) to construction work on

the new railway, exempts this work from the

requirements of section 13 of the Summary

Offences Ordinance (Chapter 228) and also frees

from control under the Public Health and
