1) General descrition of the works

The objective of the propòsed footbridge across Hennessy Road at Fercival Street is to segregate the vehicular and pedestrian traffic, thereby alleviating the serious pedestrian and vehicular conflict which persists at the junction of leru essy Road and Percival Street. The proposed works, as shown on lan No.

involves the construction of

PH4535,

i) a 4 clear width, 35m long covered footbridge across

Hennessy Road at Percival Street,

ii) a temporary staircase on Fercival Street next to IL 2836, iii) a staircase at mid span on Hennessy load and the

associated tan shelter.

iv) a staircase and escalator on Fercival Street next to L 365, and

v) associated road and drainage works.

2) Apparatus to be altered or diverted

The existing services and utilities such as gas mains, electric cables and ducts, telephone cables and ducts, lying within the limits of the works area shown on plan, or adjacent thereto, will require removal or repositioning in the course of carrying out the said works. Further

rotices, setting out the winner in which such services ard utilities

will be removed or repositioned, will be issued under section 20 of the Ordinance as and when required.
