during the currency of our said fixed term tenancy, and the noise, dust and inconvenience caused by the proposed works to Cleverly Street between Des Voeux Road Central and Connaught Road Central where our said premises is situated, our business will be affected drastically leading to a decline of profits and loss of customers during the period of the proposed works and/or thereafter.
At present, the metal sliding gate at the said premises is locked to the ground. If the ground level of Cleverly Street aforesaid is elevated or altered, the said gate or the lock thereof will have to be changed or altered. This will necessitate expenditure on our part.
Accordingly we wish to object to the said proposed work or closure of Cleverly Street and claim compensation for the interruption of or interferrence with our business.
