Request for compensation from Lands & Works Branch
We refer to the works to be carried out at a section of Cleverly Street between Des Voeux Road Central and Connaught Road Central as announced in P.M.P. Item No 285TH. Our company (B.R.C. No 5134393-000- 053 EK 107456) is situated at Flat B, G/F, Burfield Bldg., 143 Connaught Road Central facing Cleverly Street where the proposed works are to be carried out. Should the works be executed, our business will cextainly -- have to suffer heavy losses. We therefore request that we should be compensated for the following:
(1) the decrease in shop-front business which results in an
insufficient fund to maintain the daily operation of the
Company:
(2) the imout of all wance paid to our employees to compensate
them for the decrease in their income;
(3) amount of losses resultant from our employees being injured
in accidents caused by the works;
(4) the cost of fittings and installations damaged as a result of the works and the expenses involved in renovation work; and
(5) any other losses incurred from the works
