With reference to the discussion (Messrs Cowie/Farnworth/Lee) on the proposed lay-bye along the eastern boundary of Causeway Centre, we understand that it is now agreed that such a lay-bye will be provided.
On the basis of this understanding we have written to the Regional Highway Engineer/Hong Kong to withdraw this aspect of our objection to the proposed new footbridge at Stewart Road.
We will address you separately on the subject of the right turn at the junction of Harbour Drive and Harbour Road.
