(ii) For each of the two types of poultry (chicken and duck/goose), information is required on :-
(a) number of animal raised per unit area;
(b) surface area and location of farm;
(c) type and nature of feed (imported or local?)
(d) mean life of animal;
(e) total weight of animal;
(f). percentage (by weight) of edible portion;
&
(g) number eaten each year.
(iii) For each of the three types of marine produce (fish,
crustacea and molluscs: no need to categorise into species), information is required on :-
&
(a) annual catches (by weight) from principal catching
areas;
(b) location of catching areas;
(c) percentage of catch consumed by local population;
(d) percentage of edible portion of the produce;
(e) if available, radionuclide concentration factors for
edible portion of produce.
(iv) For freshwater fish, information is required (not need
to categorise into species) on -
&
(a) Annual catch (by weight) from principal production
areas;
(b) location and surface area, if available, of principal
production areas;
(c) percentage of edible portion;
(d) if available, radionuclide concentration factors for
edible portion of fish.
