China's nuclear safety regulations are similar to those

countries with advanced development in the nuclear industry. They are mainly divided into 2 categories, viz. administration regulations standards and rules.

1. Administration regulations

Nuclear Safety Management Regulations

stipulating

major issues like the scope of management, the managing body and its jurisdiction, principles and procedures of supervision and management, etc. They are promulgated by the State Council and are legally-binding instruments.

actual methods of implementation. They are based on Nuclear

Safety Management Regulations promulgated by the State

and are legally-binding instruments.
