nuclear
I have also made enquiries from various
experts as to the likely loss of power if the
distance of the nuclear plant in Daya Bay were to be
removed further away from Hong Kong. The answer is
there will be about 5% loss of power for 47 miles
for a 500 KW transmitter.
One point which seems to have surprised all the
pro-nuclear people both in England and U.S.A. is the
way the relevant authorities have been handling the
public relations aspect of the Daya Bay Project for
they cannot believe that the authorities have
refused to release to the public all relevant
information, particularly, the information relating
the public to switch
to prove to them by

to the economics of the scheme since they maintain
that the only way to persuade
over to nuclear energy is
arithmetics that nuclear energy is
cleaner. (That is, a nuclear plant is
a coal plant and causes much less
problems.)
