SINO/SOVIET: VISIT OF CHINESE DELEGATION
A Chinese delegation headed by Deputy Chairman of Gosplan, Huang Yicheng. visited the Soviet Union from

29 June to 21 July. They seem to have spent most of their time "familiarising themselves with the exploitation and construction of .. atomic power stations" and also visited factories producing equipment for such stations. The delegation also had discussions with most of the major ministries involved in the Soviet nuclear pro- gramme. Huang Yicheng was received during his visit by Katushev, Chairman of the State Committee for Foreign Relations.
