(b) Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant
This is still the subject of spontaneous discussion. There was still fear regarding the safety of the plant. Moreover some people were beginning to say that the joint venture between UK and China was made at the expense of safety for the Hong Kong poopla. They donaldered that UK, in a bid to sell British equipment to China, and China, in a bid to recoup expenditure by selling electricity to Hong Kong, completely disregarded the interests of the Hong Kong people.
