General Secretary Mr Hu Yaobang Prime Minister Mrs Thatcher

On this great occasion, two greatly renowned state leaders, coming respectively from the homes of two great men-- Shakespeare and Confucius--- and two different social systems, are meeting under a cordial and friendly atmosphere. I am sure this meeting will add an illustrious page to the annals of world history and its far-reaching significance will be demanstrated to generations. May I extend warm greetings to the two great leaders and wish them

every success.

I wish to takethis

takethis opportunity to offer a proposal to Mr Hu Yaobang. Do you think it is possible to use coal and gasoline as raw material to generate electricity in Daya Bay Power Station and at the same time to move the originally planned project of Daya Bay Nuclear Fower Station to the place close to Guangzhou?

I hope both of Mr Hu Yaobang and Mrs Thatcher take my opinion into consideration seriously and list this question into your programme for talk.

Best wishes to both of you.
