To enable me to take the study further, I would welcome your views on :

whether the system of registration of patents granted elsewhere, as opposed to a system of granting patents, should continue;
whether the present system of registering only UK patents and European patents (UK) should be widened to include, or be replaced by, the registration of European patents designating any of the member states of the European Patent Convention;
Whether the present system should be widened
to include, or be replaced by, the registration of patents granted by the Chinese Patent Office;
Whether the present system should be widened to include, or be replaced by, the
registration of patents granted by the
European Patents Office, the Chiasse Patent Office and other patent offices of international importance;
whether a system of "Petty Patents" or "Utility Models" should be established and if so, whether liong Kong should grant its owner petty patents or register those granted elsehwere.
I would also appreciate any other views that you may have on the subject and should be grateful if your reply can reach me on or before 3 February 1965
