Yugoslavia's 1966 Protocol of Accession [BISD 15S/53 Entry into Force 25 August 1966] does not differentiate between Yugoslavia and "Western" GATT contracting parties, as do the protocols for other Eastern European countries.

The United States fully recognizes Yugoslavia as a GATT contracting party and affords Yugoslavia the benefits

of GATT membership.

MTN CODES:

Yugoslavia signed the Subsidies Code in 1980 (although

this signature has not been ratified).

Yugoslavia is a

party to the Standards, Valuation, Licensing and 'Antidumping Codes, having joined these agreements in

1982.

Yugoslavia also joined the Meat Arrangement in 1982 and is an observer in the Dairy and Aircraft Committees.
