Czechoslovakia joined the Licensing and Antidumping
Codes in 1980, the Standards Code in 1982, and the Customs
Valuation Code in May of 1984. Despite mutual suspension
of GATT relations between the U.S. and Czechoslovakia, no
restrictions on bilateral trade relations under the Codes
Czechoslovakia is an observer in the Procurement,
exist.
Subsidies and Aircraft Committees.
BILATERAL TRADE AGREEMENTS:
Other than a March 1977 Textile Trade Consultations
Agreement, there are no bilateral agreements governing
U.S.-Czech trade relations.
The Czechoslovak-U.S. Economic Council offers a forum
for periodic bilateral consultations.
