Czechoslovakia is one of the founding GATT Contracting Parties and, as such, its participation in GATT is not goverened by a special protocol of accession.
The United States, however, has suspended GATT relations with Czechoslovakia for an indefinite period following the September 27, 1951 GATT CONTRACTING PARTIES Declaration that "the U.S. and Czechoslovakia shall be free to suspend, each with respect to the other, the obligations of the GATT" [BISD II/36].
