Concessions
Entry into Force 14 November 1971]. Like the Hungarian and Polish cases, the protocol allows for the imposition of selective import restrictions in injurious circumstances. granted to Romania may also be suspended in situations where developments in reciprocal trade and measures provided for in the protocol are judged unsatisfactory.
The United States has no GATT relations with Romania, the U.S. having invoked GATT Article XXXV at the time of
Romania's accession.
