12. Section 1051(ga)(i) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "or the Urban" and substituting the following-
", the Urban Council or the Regional".
13. Section 105L of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) in subsection (1)(h)(i) by deleting "or the Urban" and substituting the
following-
", the Urban Council or the Regional"; and
(b) in subsection (2)—
(i) by deleting "urban areas" and substituting the following-
"Urban Council area";
(ii) by deleting "Director of Regional Services" and substituting the following--
"Regional Council”; and
(iii) by deleting "elsewhere" and substituting the following-
"in the Regional Council area”.
14. Section 110(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended- (a) by deleting "urban areas" and substituting the following-
"Urban Council area"; and
(b) by deleting "elsewhere" and substituting the following—
"in the Regional Council area”.
15. Section 117(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended—
(a) by deleting "urban areas" and substituting the following--
"Urban Council area"; and
(b) by deleting "elsewhere" and substituting the following-
"in the Regional Council area”.
16. Section 122 of the principal Ordinance is amended- (a) in paragraph (a)—
(i) in sub-paragraph (i) by inserting after the semicolon the following-
"or";
(ii) by deleting "; or" at the end of sub-paragraph (ii) and substituting a
comma;
(iii) by deleting sub-paragraph (iii); and
(iv) by deleting "and" at the end;
(b) by deleting the full stop at the end of paragraph (b) and substituting the
following--
"; and"; and
(c) by inserting after paragraph (b) the following-
"(c) if ordered by the Regional Council as the Authority under section
118(4) or 119A, out of funds of the Regional Council.".
17. Section 125(1A) of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting after "Urban Council" the following--
"or the Regional Council".
18. Section 130 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) in the proviso to subsection (1) by inserting after “behalf” the following—
"and, where the public body is the Regional Council, such certificate shall be signed by the Director of Regional Services or a public officer duly authorized by him in that behalf";
(b) in subsection (4) by inserting after "Services" the following—
", and, where the public body is the Regional Council, the Director of Regional Services"; and
(c) by inserting after subsection (6A) the following—
"(6B) Any sum which the Regional Council is entitled to recover under the provisions of this Ordinance may be recovered by the Director of Regional Services summarily as a civil debt due to the Regional Council or as a simple contract debt due to the Regional Council in any court of competent jurisdiction.".
19. Section 131(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) in paragraph (a) by deleting "urban areas" and substituting the following-
"Urban Council area”; and
(b) in paragraph (b) by deleting "New Territories" and substituting the
following-
"Regional Council area".
20. Section 135(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) by deleting the colon after "body" and substituting a full stop; and (b) by deleting the proviso.

21. Section 142 of the principal Ordinance is amended in the proviso by Amendment of inserting after "Ordinance" the following---
(39 of
1985.)
"and, where the public body is the Regional Council, such delegation shall be subject to and in accordance with the provisions of the Regional Council Ordinance 1985".

22. Section 144 of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting after "Urban Amendment of Council" the following-
"or the Regional Council".
23. Section 145 of the principal Ordinance is amended- (a) by deleting "and" at the end of paragraph (a); and
(b) by inserting after paragraph (a) the following—
"(aa) to the Regional Council where the Regional Council is the
Authority for the purposes of such provision; and".
24. The principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "the Colony" wherever it occurs in sections 2, 15, 24, 27, 30, 32, 33, 55, 63, 71, 75, 105, 112A and 125 and substituting the following--
“Hong Kong”.

25. The Third Schedule to the principal Ordinance is deleted and replaced by Deletion and the following---
replacement of Third Schedule.
