Mr Ainscow, as Temporary Alternate Governor, will represent the UK at this meeting, supported by Mr Frost and myself.
2. As in the past I should be most grateful if you would provide concise defensive briefing on any bilateral issues which you and/or the Other Wing consider might be raised with the UK delegation by Asian and Pacific country members. This should include any necessary references to any "problem" countries or issues. I should be grateful for main material not higher classified than Restricted; any confidential material might be in a separate annex, if necessary.
3. It would be very helpful if you would please arrange for a consolidated brief from your Department to be sent to Mr Austin, E404 by Friday 18 April.
