Where the realigned river course is south of the
existing river course (and boundary), the
Hong Kong authorities will erect a series of pillars
and notice boards along the southern bank of the
existing river course, facing north. The notices
will state that "You have entered Hong Kong.
Turn back. Entry into Hong Kong is permitted only
at cross border control points";
to enable river traffic control, maintenance and
rescue work to be carried out each side will have
the right of access on the new river course for
river craft; and
all the detailed arrangements related to the above proposals and to any other security measures agreed to by both sides, will be made via the Border
Liaison network.
