tour of the main London sights, including if possible a river trip to see something of dockland and the Thames Barrier. probable that Mr Xu will be offered lunch on that day by an FCO Minister, so the other activities will need to be divided into two sessions.

13 May: a morning call on the FCO. afternoon with Mr Hal Miller MP at Parliament.

We are pretty sure that this broad outline is right, although some details remain to be confirmed (very soon) by Mr Cha's London representative. We shall of course advise you of any changes or additions at once: there could be further calls to fit

fit in within London, probably on 13 May. We would be most grateful if COI could take on preparation of a Category III programme on this basis, including provision of a COI escort during the 3 days in question (and if possible to meet the party on their arrival by BA 503 on 11 May and to take them to their hotel).
