Items (a) to (e) can be done either on 5th or 6th of May. other two courtesy calls will require more careful consideration. have explained to Dykes that H.E. has a very busy schedule and that HKG does not have a Deputy Governor. We also said that it would be easier to arrange a call on a senior official for his colleagues in the Dixons Group if he were present. Accordingly, it is probably better to try to arrange item (g) on 5 May when Dykes might be together with Souhami. If C.S. is not available, perhaps they can
meet STI/SES. STI/SES.

I do not propose to do much for Souhami's visit from 3-5 March, but the BTC might be interested in meeting him or arranging visits to TDC and HKGCC. Can you kindly make enquiries of the BTC?

Grateful for a sitrep on what can be arranged by early next
week, when Dykes will call again.
