Communications between the two services were discussed and it was agreed that current arrangements as determined at the previous meeting are working well. Interpol NCB China has now entered the Interpol radio network.

Although two officers have been nominated as liaison officers for Interpol in Guangdong the sub-office has not yet opened and the Chinese side reported that this still required further planning and preparation. The Chinese side repeated their request that all correspondence should be referred to Interpol (Beijing) as there is very good communications between Interpol Beijing and other Provinces, including Guangdong, and action would be obtained more speedily this way.
3.
On the matter of visits and meetings between Chinese and Hong Kong officers it was agreed that current mutual arrangements for the speedy issue of visas was working well.
