The Secretary of State was grateful for your suggestion of a meeting with Lord Carrington (your submission of 11 April). He thinks that this would indeed be sufficient
cover.
Copy recipients should not however feel inhibited from suggesting other meetings which might fulfil the same role, particularly if another call can be identified which would, be intrinsically more useful than a further bilateral meeting with Lord Carrington so soon after 17 March.
