Following the Portuguese governmental elections last October, we called in the Portuguese Ambassador who told us about the proposed formation of an Inter-Ministerial Committee.
Sra Aguiar's visit, coming on the heels of Dr Soares' presidential election, would be a good opportunity to remind the Portuguese of our continuing interest in this issue.
