Clause XXV of the principal Instructions is
amended by deleting Rule 1 and substituting the
following new Rule
-
"Form of enacting Ordinances.
1.
Laws may be enacted in English
and Chinese or in either of those languages.
:
All laws enacted in English shall be styled
"Ordinances" and the enacting words shall
be "enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong,
with the advice and consent of the
Legislative Council thereof"; and the
corresponding words in Chinese shall be
used in laws enacted in Chinese."
