TO LETTERS PATENT GOVERNING GRANTS OF LAND IN

I am
am writing to you concerning an amendment to the
Hong Kong Letters Patent regarding grants of land in the
submitted E territory. The amendment concerned was considered by the
Privy Council yesterday and I understand that it was
approved by Her Majesty.
We had intended to write to you on this issue before
the Privy Council considered the proposal, in order to
seek your advice on whether any objection would be seen
to it from the Palace. Please accept my most sincere
apologies that, through an oversight, we did not in the
event write to before the Privy Council meeting in
question.
