Explanatory Memorandum
The purpose of this Bill is to provide
an Executive Council Oath which may be taken by
members of the Executive Council as an alternative
to taking the Oath of Allegiance.
2. The form of the new oath is set out in a
new Part IIIA in the Second Schedule to the principal
Ordinance.

The Bill has no Public Service staffing or
public expenditure implications.
