The Express: The way the BLCC office-bearers were chosen is an obvious

deviation from the BLCC

constitution.

Wah Kiu Yat Po: The BLCC office-bearer

controversies may have been arisen from

different interpretations of the term "elections".

This shows that there is

a need to step up the communication between

China and HK.

HK Times: The "BLCC scandal" has taught HK people a lesson and help them understand the real

nature of the communists and their policy towards HK.

Mr Edmund Chow of the Civic Association: The violation of the BLCC Constitution in the election of office- bearers for the consultative panel's standing committee is only a technical mistake and can be rectified.

BLCC member Philip Kwok: The election of office-bearers has not violated the BLCC Constitution. The list of office-bearers should be legal as it is accepted by all standing committee members present.

BLCC members Nick Griffin, Brian Tisdall, Kenneth Chow, William Tsui and 13 political opinion groups: Another election of the office-bearers of the BLCC standing committee should be conducted.
